1) What are the prices for your suites?
Our prices for the suites depend on their location in our building. For example, the higher the floor the more expensive the unit.

2) What is meant by a "Life Lease"?
The unit is leased to you for as long as you wish to live in it. When you no longer need the residence, it must be returned to the Kamloops Low Rental Housing Society. The Society will have the suite cleaned and refurbished to new condition and it will be leased to another senior for the same price you paid. When the monies for the new lease are received you will be repaid the exact amount that you originally paid minus $2000 non-refundable fee and the cost of cleaning and repairing the suite.

3) Are pets allowed?
The only pets now allowed are guide dogs. While a few longtime residents have pets, current policy is that new residents can not bring pets. This policy is in fairness to all residents and is standard in the industry.

4) Are there any restrictions on our visitors?
No, there are no restrictions, except that we ask our visitors not to bring pets. We expect our residents and their visitors to consider each other's lifestyle and not to offend or intrude upon it.
